About the Conference

Conference Intro

The 17th IGSCPP welcomes the submission of abstracts with a maximum length of 400 words for original contributions in the population and public health sciences field. We have now extended the abstract submission deadline to June 5, 2026, and abstracts will be subject to a double-blind peer-review process conducted by a panel of reviewers. Authors will be notified of their abstract's acceptance status by June 23, 2026.

Note: Onsite participation is encouraged for those who reside in Thailand. Virtual platform participation is allowed upon prior notice.

  • Graduate students, researchers and staff from organizing institutions, i.e. AIHD, IPSR and CPHS.
  • Graduate students, researchers and staff from Chulalongkorn and Mahidol University Health Sciences' faculties and other faculties, e.g., Medicine, Nursing, Pharmaceutical Science, Dentistry, Sport Science, Allied Health Sciences, and Communication Arts.
  • Public Health and Public Health Sciences Institutes Network in Thailand.
  • Students, researchers and academic staff from partner universities / institutions in Asian and other regions.

The Objectives of 17th IGSCPP

To promote cooperative academic activities under the memorandum of understanding between IPSR, AIHD, and CPHS.

To provide graduate students, faculties, and researchers with opportunities for developing and presenting academic papers.

To enhance the quality of research in Population and Public Health in order to reach international standards.

To disseminate graduate student research among research communities to benefit the public nationally and internationally.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

The abstracts should not exceed 400 words, Times New Roman 12 points with 3-5 keywords. The paper title should be typed in bold.

The abstract should include background, objective(s), method(s), result(s), and conclusion. Complete contact information for each author should be provided in the form of the author's name, affiliation, and email address. The corresponding author should be clearly identified (in case of multiple authors) with an asterisk (*).

Please specify in your email:
  • The type of presentation you prefer (oral or poster presentation).
    *Remark: The reviewers will make the final decision.
  • Whether you intend to submit a proceeding or not.

Please be informed that the final decision is dependent on the conference’s scientific committee.
Judging Criteria

All abstracts will be judged on the following criteria by a team of peer reviewers:

  • Relevance to National/International Health Initiatives.
  • Relevance to the conference theme.
  • Originality: Presentation of new ideas.
  • Implementation Experience: How widely can it be used?
  • Clarity of Writing: Well-organized scope/purpose.
  • Quality: Accuracy and completeness.
  • Importance: Value to public health/population.
  • Overall: Reviewer’s general impression.

Consideration Process

The conference secretariat will notify you by email regarding the progress of your submission within 2 weeks after the abstract submission deadline.

Oral Presentation
  • Presented in English
  • Microsoft PowerPoint format
  • 15 minutes with a Q&A session
Poster Presentation
  • Presented in English
  • Prepared using the provided format
  • Printed for physical (onsite) display

Best Student Presentation Awards

Awards for the best student presentation (both oral and poster presentations) will be conferred at the conference.

In order to qualify for these awards, the paper must be presented at the conference.

Proceeding Submission

Presenters of either oral and poster presentations have the option to submit a proceeding (no longer than 3500 words) to the 17th IGSCPP 2026.

All proceedings MUST be submitted in Microsoft Word (by July 1, 2026), double-spaced, in 12-point Times New Roman font.
